She has helped many clients by first of all understanding their Prakriti that is the constitution of a person and then formulating a customized diet accordingly, as she believes that every individual is different . Her belief is that the same diet cannot work for every one even if they have the same zodiac sign, family or blood group. She says that it is important for a nutritionist and doctor to first of all  know  the patient’s constitution. She has formulated a questionnaire (Know Your Prakriti) which she sends to her clients. On the basis of the answers received from her clients she by her vast experience in the field judges the client’s Prakriti( Body Constitution according to Ayurvedic Medicine). Once she knows the Prakriti ,she prepares a customized diet for the client keeping in mind their Prakriti so that by the end of the programme, there should be a general feeling of good health along with the desired weight loss.

Dr. Sarita has large number of Defence and civil clients both within India and abroad. She has branches of her consultancy by the name of “Doctor’s Weight Loss” in Amritsar, Delhi and Bangalore, which are functional under her clinic coordinators. In addition she also provides expert advice to a number of other clinics in Delhi and Jabalpur on nutritional & weight related aspects.

In Delhi Dr. Sarita had the privilege of providing nutritional advice to the services sportsmen who have thereafter improved their performances and excelled in various national competition in the fields of Wrestling, Basketball, Mountaineering and Cross country.
